Lovely B&B
Pinforest is at the end of a long driveway which makes it a bit quieter away from the road. The gardens surrounding the home are lovely and it is close to Blarney Castle. The rooms were very comfortable with power showers in the ensuite.
We had a good breakfast and our hosts were very helpful.
I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Blarney
True Irish warmth and hospitality..
Yes, we did kiss the Blarney Stone, but our endorsement of Janet’s charming B and B comes from the heart. We checked in the night before our Blarney estate tour and were shown to our modern and spacious room, ground floor with ramps and bathroom assist bars, much welcomed by my injured companion, as was the large shower and comfortable double bed. Our room was well appointed, quiet, clean and fresh. The lounge was a pure delight, but the best was our scrumptious breakfast feast in the warm and spotless dining room, overlooking the gardens. Conversation flowed freely with our host and the other guests, and before our departure, Janet shared her considerable local knowledge to help us maximize the remainder of our tour northward and ease our driving concerns, much appreciated. Her warm wit and charm left us with a fond, lasting memory of our first trip to the Emerald Isle. Book your stay here, or miss one of the best B and B’s on the island
Don’t drive past this one
Set in a lovely garden at the end of a long driveway this B&B is like a boutique hotel. Huge rooms with lovely ensuites and a sitting room to die for. Walk to the end of their driveway and you can see Blarney castle! THe dining room is great with lovely windows to enjoty your breakfast while looking at the views.Janet and her family were extremely welcoming, This was our first experience of B&Bs in ireland and we were more that pleasantly surprised.
Stay in Blarney @ Pineforest B&BJust to let you know, our hostess Janet was just very accommodating and friendly. Besides that, she was a great cook too! We had luxurious accommodations and lovely lawns for the six children to play on. Just great!! Sharon and Earl Lilley
Pineforest has lots of Personality
Janette Murphy-Hallissey is a terrific host and prepares an awesome breakfast. She is full of knowledge and laughter. I could talk to her all day
The best B&B in all the land of eire
Well what can i say..this B&B is truely outstanding, Janet and her family made me feel right at home and gave me lots of information on the surrounding areas definetly one of the best B&B’s ive stayed in in a long time (and ive stayed in alot..just saying…) The rooms were spacious and clean modern yet still cosy. The breakfast..words can not describe..Truely was amazing. It was lovely getting up in the morning to look down on the garden especially if the weather is nice. They also have a very comfortable decking which is great on summer evenings. This is definetly the B&B to stayin if you are in the cork area with a bus stop right outside the door to the city centre and blarney just down the road your really in for a treat.I definetly would recommend to to friends and i have done..i return here regularly on my visits to cork and it has never let me down. i know you will enjoy your stay just as much as i have
Very helpful owner – attentive to our needs Owner was very helpful. We were near Blarney Caslte and could not find Pineforest B&B, so owner drove to where we were and drove us to the B&B. Pineforest B&B is only a road away from Blarney Castle. The B&B has a beautiful garden. The owner is very helpful and helped us a lot in places to visit. We arrived late and asked owner if there were some restaurants open, and owner phoned to see if a nearby restaurant was open. Very helpful indeed
